Thought of Padre Pio of April 29. The Saint tells you ...

Walk cheerfully and with a sincere and open heart as much as you can, and when you cannot always maintain this holy joy, at least never lose courage and confidence in God.

Prudent Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, who nurtured a great devotion to the Souls of Purgatory for which you offered yourself as an atoning victim, pray to the Lord that he instill in us the feelings of compassion and love that you had for these souls, so that we too are able to reduce their times of exile, making sure to earn for them, with sacrifices and prayers, the holy indulgences they need.

Ŧ O Lord, I beg you to want to pour over me the punishments that are prepared for sinners and purging souls; multiply them above me, as long as you convert and save sinners and free the souls of purgatory soon ŧ. Father Pio
