Poem to Mary, Mother of God (unpublished)

O dear mother Maria
many times I prayed to you
but few times did I listen.
You sit next to me
and speak to my heart
I don't hear your voice
taken from earthly affairs
but I feel in my heart
your love
for this I love you
and I thank you.
O dear mother Maria
you who sat under the cross
now sit next to me
you who ascended
your son's cries of suffering
listen to my cries now.
Listen to me dear mom
I turn my gaze to you
and I feel my heart throbbing
you are close to me
mother of all mothers.
Follow my path
you follow my every step
I roll my eyes
and I don't see you,
you are next to me
I hear your voice
I feel your heart
I feel your breath
I see your grace.
Open your arms to me
encourage me on the way
when my tears rise to you
cover me with your coat
and if by chance
sin looms in my life
use me mercy and mercy.
O dear mother Maria
my heart join yours
now and forever.
O dear mother Maria
love me as you loved your son
dispel the darkness
welcome me into your son's kingdom
embrace me for eternity.
O dear mother Maria
I'm here at your feet
to tell you now and all eternity
I loved you, I love you and I will love you.
