Prayer for thanksgiving through the intercession of Mother Hope
Father of mercy and God of all consolation, we thank you for the call to your Merciful Love offered to us in the life and word of the Mother Hope of Jesus. Give us your own confidence in your fatherly love and, if it is in your designs, give it the glory you reserve. to those who are faithful to your Spirit and reveal the goodness of Jesus to the world, through his intercession, grant grace ... We ask you for it, counting on the help of Mary, mediator of that mercy that we want to sing forever. Amen.

Mother Speranza's mission
At the age of twelve, as Mother Hope herself said, an episode took place which saw Saint Teresa of the Child Jesus as protagonist and which influenced her spirituality in a decisive way and gave an address to her life. This urged her to commit herself to spreading the devotion of the AM in the world, as she too had done throughout her life.
By now religious, probably from the second half of the 20s, Mother Speranza collaborated with Father Juan Gónzalez Arintero for the devotion to AM that was spreading around the world. For Mother Speranza this was a vital experience, which marked and gave the imprint to her whole existence and mission. But also for her it will be a gradual journey, to which the Lord will urge her to become more and more transparent of her love and her mercy, as she wrote in her diary on February 7, 1928. To keep anonymity, Mother Speranza also signed his writings under the pseudonym "Sulamitis". For Father Arintero and Mother Speranza, creatures chosen by the Lord to spread the devotion and doctrine of the AM, it was certainly not a question of inventing a new doctrine, but of collecting the precious legacy of many others who, over the centuries, were called by the Lord to prepare, for our times, a particular revelation of God's mercy. From all this emerges an idea of God's infinite love for man who, in his providential plan of salvation, thanks to the generosity of many creatures , over the centuries, has gone on to announce the manifestation of his infinite mercy.
The Sanctuary of the AM of Collevalenza will remain a privileged place for this announcement for Mother Speranza and for the entire religious family.
Even today Mother Speranza continues to be an announcement for the thousands of pilgrims who come to Collevalenza from all over. Father Bartolomeo Sorge sj summarizes the new "mission" of Mother Speranza and her religious family: "In front of that tomb, I do not tire of looking beyond what it represents, because I see in it the symbol of the future path of the Church . That tomb wonderfully sums up the link between Mother Speranza's charism and the history of the new times. Because? Arriving in Collevalenza we admire this great Basilica; it is beautiful, it is worthy of the glory of God, image of the Church reaching out to Heaven, a Church where men come and go in large numbers; it is welcoming, open to the world, new, in which everyone feels like family, welcomed by the Sons and Handmaids of the AM through a smiling and delicate service. We admire this temple, this "triumph" as Mother Hope said, and we do not realize what is going on in the Crypt. "Crypt", by definition, means the most hidden, lowest place of the whole building ... In the Crypt, in the most hidden place, two meters of land are raised, as well as the grain of wheat which, thrown on the ground, moves and lifts it. You look at the boundless field, large, without horizon, and you don't see that the earth rises a little. It is a small grain of wheat, hidden in the crypt, at the base of the Church of God, which removes the earth and announces the new ear, the Church of our times ".
