A malignant liver carcinoma, inoperable: diagnosis made at the hospital in Fondi (Latina) and confirmed at the Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome in the autumn of 2007. Pilgrimage to the tomb of St. Anthony in Padua a year later and ... the healing, with flowers of medical specialists to ascertain the disappearance of the tumor, a result confirmed in the following years every time Antonio Cataldi, 54, hotelier, has undergone the prescribed checks.

"A miracle of the Saint", says the protagonist of this story we met in the basilica, where, since that now distant 2008, every year on the occasion of the feast of June 13, he comes on pilgrimage, to give thanks and "to pray ... above all for others".

Cataldi is the owner of the Hotel dei Fiori, the fourth generation of a family that founded it in 1907, married to Angela, Civitina's father (thirty years old), Matteo (twenty eight), Filippo Maria (eighteen years old).

He says that in September 2007, due to a disorder he could not understand, he was advised by his doctor brother Enzo to undergo clinical tests in the local hospital. And it was a cold shower, indeed very cold: what has already been said - diagnosis confirmed at the Gemelli Polyclinic.
