Prayer to Our Lady of Perpetual Help

La Virgin Mary, among its many titles, it also has that of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

This title reveals that Our Lady, as a mother, always helps and always comes to our aid. Here, then, a prayer which is great for any need, and even though we may not get what we want, God will respond and give us what we need most.

"Most Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of God, whom I love to honor under the beautiful title of Mother of Perpetual Help, I, NAME, although very unworthy to be Your servant, but moved by Your wonderful compassion and my desire to serve You, now I choose You, in the presence of my guardian angel and of all the celestial court, as my queen, advocate and mother: and I firmly propose to love You and always serve You for the future and to do everything possible to induce others to love and serve you.

I beg You, O Mother of God, and my most compassionate and loving Mother, for the blood that Your Son has shed for me, to receive me among Your servants, to be Your son and servant forever. Help me in my thoughts, words and deeds in every moment of my life, so that everything can be directed to the greater glory of my God; and by Your most powerful intercession, may I never again offend my beloved Jesus, but may I glorify and love him in this life, and also love You, my most tender and dear Mother, so that I can love and enjoy You in heaven and bless you. God for all eternity. Amen".
