Prayer to our Guardian Angel to ask for special help

My most zealous Advocate, holy Angel my Guardian, who with incessant prayers plead the cause of my eternal health in heaven, and remove the deserved punishments from my head, I greet you and thank you, together with all the choir of the Thrones elected to support the the threshold of the Most High and to establish men in the good started, and instantly I beg you to crown your charity by giving me the priceless gift of final perseverance, so that in death I happily pass from the miseries of this exile to the eternal joy of the heavenly homeland.

Angel of God, who you are my custodian, illuminate, guard, rule and govern me, who was entrusted to you by heavenly piety.

Pray for us, blessed angel of God. That we may be made worthy of Christ's promises.
