Prayer to Our Lady of Consolation to obtain a grace

Virgin Comforter,
chosen by God to become
Mother of the Savior by the work of the Holy Spirit,
listen benignly to our prayers:

You who have feet of the Cross,
you experienced moments of unspeakable pain,
you can understand those who cry
and you have the power to wipe away our tears.

We beg you:
help and console, with motherly love,
how many confidently invoke You
from this valley of tears.

Visit our families, comfort the sick,
protect children and young people,
return those who have lost it to the straight path.

You who are now beside the Divine Son,
certainly blessed, support our faith,
revive our hope,
increase our charity,
so that, following your wonderful examples,
we can one day reach you
in eternal happiness.
