Prayer to the Guardian Angel to ask for protection, help and blessings

Most gracious Comforter of my soul, Holy Angel my Guardian, who with gentle inspirations comfort me in all the troubles of present life and in all fears of the future, I greet you and thank you, together with all the choir of the Cherubim who, full of the science of God, they are elected to illuminate our ignorance and I beg you to assist me especially and to console me both in the present adversities as in the extreme agonies, so that, enticed by your sweetness, I close my heart to all the fallacious flatteries of this earth to rest in the hopes of future happiness.

Angel of God, who you are my custodian, illuminate, guard, rule and govern me, who was entrusted to you by heavenly piety.

Pray for us, blessed angel of God. That we may be made worthy of Christ's promises.
