PRAYER FOR THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

O Jesus, we are your brothers, who suffer in their body, which has been redeemed by you. But our spirit calls you, O God, and invokes your Spirit: oh send us your Holy Spirit, who will increase our love. Send your Holy Spirit, who is Love, to heal our wounds. We want to learn from you, or Jesus, to live for others and to give our whole life and everything we have. O Jesus, send us your Spirit, who at the beginning of creation hovered over the waters; and life came out of the waters! Oh, life is born inside our heart through the Spirit, that life that you lived, or Jesus, that you gave through your Spirit to the Madonna, who conceived you in your womb. Oh, give us your Spirit which is life. O Jesus, give us and send us the Spirit to free us from fear before your life. Free us from all temptations, from the evil spirit that is active every day, who wants to hurry us, who wants to put thoughts of rejection into our hearts: "I don't have the time, I don't understand anything", who wants to put nervousness in our hearts. O Jesus, deliver us from the spirit of evil and fill us with the spirit of obedience and humility, as you have filled the heart of your Mother. We wish to follow the word of the Father towards us. Give us the spirit of peace and serenity. O Jesus, we are not afraid; we have joy, because your Spirit is capable of changing us. Pour your Spirit into our hearts.

The time we live in is dangerous. You want to save us; you have no time to waste, you want to change us immediately, put your project in our heart. Yes, we know we are weak, we are not here by chance, we have been called. Oh, put your word in our heart, take us by the hand, take each of us in these days, take us before the Lord, before the Holy Spirit, because we become simple, obedient, humble. Oh, help us, Mom! In the name of your Son and our God, let us pray for the gift of the Spirit: Our Father.
