Prayer to John XXIII to be recited today to ask for a grace

Dear Saint John XXIII, You who are known, loved and invoked all over the world
with the appellation of "Good Pope" help us to discover in the sad and happy events of our existence
to discover in the sad and happy events of our existence
the infinite love, the immense goodness, the mysterious action and the eternal mercy of God,
of him who "alone is good" and at whose source with humility, fear and gratitude
you have quenched your thirst for all the days of your life.
Give us the grace to always be "obedient" to the will of God the Father,
joyful announcers and faithful witnesses of the "peace" given to us by Jesus,
meek and humble bearers of that "light" in the eyes that only children have
and those who, like you, are always reflected in the communion of love of the Holy Spirit
of which and in which they are intimately immersed, gently pervaded and serenely lost.
