PRAYER TO IMPLORE THE HOLY SPIRIT

Eternal Father, in the name of Jesus Christ and through the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, send me the Holy Spirit.

Come, Holy Spirit, into my heart and sanctify it. Come, Father of the poor, and lift me up. Come, Author of all good, and console me. Come, Light of mind, and enlighten me. Come, Comforter of souls, and comfort me. Come, sweet Guest of hearts, and don't go to me. Come, true refreshment of my life, and refresh me. 3 Glory be to the Father. Holy Spirit, eternal Love, Come to us with your ardor, Come inflame our hearts.
