Prayer against depression and any form of malaise

Lord Jesus,
I present to you all the sadnesses, anxieties, worries,
the sense of loneliness, isolation, failure;
All states of depression, despair,
distrust, overthrow, demeaning
where I often find myself.

With my own strength I can't get out
from these moods of sadness and depression.
You intervene.

How did you appear to the two disciples of Emmaus along the way
and you put hope in their hearts and smile on their faces,
so come next to me.

Free me from these moods.
Fill the void of my heart and my life,
let me emerge from all sadness and depression

.Infuse the Holy Spirit into me,
Spirit of comfort and joy,
of hope and strength
