Ave, o star of the sea, / glorious mother of God,
virgin always, Mary, / happy door to heaven.

the Ave of the heavenly messenger / bears the announcement of God,
change the fate of Eve, / give the world peace.

Break ties to the oppressed, / give light to the blind,
drive away all evil from us, / ask all good for us.

Show yourself Mother for all, / offer our prayers,
May Christ welcome him kindly, / he who made himself your Son.

Holy virgin of all, / sweet queen of heaven,
make your children innocent, / humble and pure of heart.

Give us days of peace, / watch over our path,
make us see your Son, / full of joy in heaven.

Praise to the Most High Father, / glory to Christ the Lord,
