Prayer to obtain the "good death and eternal salvation" dictated by the Madonna

It is a practice that deserves to be known, adopted and spread by all.

The illusion of never having to leave this world, or that that day is as far away, as it should come, is childish. We all walk to eternity. It is every journey has a term. The thought of death must not be dismissed as burdensome and fearful. Better think about it in time. Better to make sure that day is peaceful, possibly, like the first day of real life, the longed-for beginning of full happiness.

According to the promise made by Mary to Saint Matilda of Hackeborn: "I will surely do what you ask of me, my daughter, but I ask you that every day you recite me Three Hail Marys".

The Three Hail Marys are the practice suitable for the people of our time, taken by the frenzy of modern life and who does not reserve a little time for his soul and for his relationship with God. Who will find that half-minute that takes recitation too long? It is very easy and accessible to all. In its brevity it draws attention to the mystery of the Holy Trinity.

If anyone objected that such a short and easy practice cannot obtain such numerous and extraordinary graces, all that remains is to blame God himself, who has granted such power to the Virgin, who has enriched him with his promises. Is it not God's habit to work the greatest wonders with means that seem simple? God is the absolute master of his gifts and the Virgin, with her love as a very tender mother, responds with enormous generosity.

And here are the promises linked by the Virgin to the Three Hail Marys: “In the hour of death I will be present to you, comforting you and removing every diabolical force from you. I will infuse you with light of faith and knowledge, so that your faith is not tempted by ignorance or error. I will assist you in the hour of your passing, infusing the sweetness of divine love into your soul, so that every death penalty and bitterness may prevail in you, for love, into a very sweet thing ”.

Practice

The Practice of the Three Hail Marys is very simple. It is sufficient to recite every day (preferable to do it both in the morning and in the evening) three Ave Maria, preceded and interspersed by these intentions:

Mary, Mother of Jesus and my Mother, defend me from the evil one in life and in the hour of death.

For the power that the eternal Father has granted you. Ave Maria…

For the wisdom that the divine Son has granted you. Ave Maria…

For the love that the Holy Spirit has granted you. Ave Maria…
