Powerful prayer to Saint John the Baptist to ask for a grace

St. John the Baptist, whom you were called by God to prepare the way
to the Savior of the world and you invited people to penance and conversion,
make our heart purified from evil because we become worthy of
welcome the Lord.
You who had the privilege of baptizing the Son of God in the waters of the Jordan
made man and to show him to everyone as Lamb who takes away the sins of the world,
obtain for us an abundance of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and guide us in the way
of salvation and peace. Amen.
