Prayer to Mary, in painful moments
If my projects, patiently built,
collapsed in shock
from difficulties and trials,
and my desires, even the most good and honest,
they are revealed in vain,
Maria, help me, come to my rescue.
If pain enters my house,
confuses and shakes my heart,
and I seem to be suddenly
abandoned and defenseless,
helpless and without resources,
Maria, help me, come to my rescue.
If disease and death
s'annunciano
where they may seem absurd to me,
where health and life claim their rights,
and God's plans seem incomprehensible to me,
Maria, help me, come to my rescue.

Prayer in life's difficulties
O almighty and merciful God,
refreshment in fatigue, support in pain, comfort in tears,
listen to the prayer, which conscious of our faults, we address to you:
save us from present distress
and give us a safe refuge in your mercy.
For Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Almighty and merciful father,
look at our painful condition:
comfort your children and open our hearts to hope,
because we feel your presence as a father among us.

Virgin Mary,
You are the Immaculate Conception:
your whole life is a radiant sign
of the victory of Your Son over sin.
Sweet Mother of Christ
don't forget our sadness:
console the anxieties that you alone know,
listen to the sad silences
of those who no longer dare to confide,
revive the offended and disheartened spirits.
Virgin without stain,
pray for us sinners.
Pray for those who can no longer succeed
to distinguish good from bad,
for those who hope no more than on earth
love can be encountered.
Watch over who blamed himself,
vice, arrogance, corruption
and help Him heal and be born again
to a better life.
