Prayer to be recited to St. Michael the Archangel to ask for grace and protection

Most noble prince of the Angelic Hierarchies, valiant warrior of the Most High, zealous lover of the glory of the Lord, terror of the rebel angels, love and delight of all the righteous angels, my most beloved Archangel Saint Michael, because I wish to be counted in the number of devotees and of your servants, today I offer myself as such, I give myself and consecrate myself to you, and I place myself, my family and all that belongs to me under your most powerful protection. The offering of my servitude is small, since I am a miserable, sinner. But you like the affection of my heart. Remember also that if from today onwards I am under your patronage, you must assist me in all my life and procure for me the forgiveness of my many and serious sins, the grace to love my God from the heart, my dear Savior Jesus and my sweet Mother Mary, and implore me for those helps that are necessary for me to arrive at the crown of glory. Always defend me from the enemies of my soul especially in the extreme point of my life. Come, then, O most glorious Prince, and assist me in the last fight. With your mighty weapon, drive away from me into the abyss of hell that haughty and proud angel that you prostrated one day in the fight in heaven. Amen.
