Prayer to San Gabriele Arcangelo to ask for a grace

San Gabriele is one of the three Angels whose name we know, like S. Michele and S. Raffaele. Its name is interpreted as "Fortress of God". He had three great missions.

The first to Daniel, to indicate precisely the 70 weeks of years before the Redeemer came.

The second verse Zechariah to predict the birth of St. John the Baptist and punish him for unbelief.

The third was the Annunciation to Mary of the birth of the Word. For this reason he is also considered as the Angel of the Incarnation. Let us recommend ourselves to St. Gabriel, so that he may be our lawyer in Heaven and make us achieve the benefits of the Incarnation which he has announced.

«O glorious Archangel St. Gabriel, I share the joy you felt in going as a heavenly Messenger to Mary, I admire the respect with which you presented yourself to her, the devotion with which you greeted her, the love with which, first among the Angels, you adored the Incarnate Word in his womb and I ask you to repeat with the same sentiments the greeting you then addressed to Mary and to offer with the same love the treats you then presented to the Word made Man, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary and of Angelus Domini ». Amen.
