Jesus: Invite souls to recite this chaplet and I will give them what they will ask for. "

What is the Chaplet of Divine Mercy?

CROWN OF DIVINE MERCY

On September 13, 1935, SM Faustina Kowalska (Poland 1905-1938), seeing an angel about to perform a tremendous punishment on humanity, was inspired to offer the Father "II Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity" of the his most beloved Son "in expiation for our sins and those of the whole world". While the Saint repeated the prayer, the angel was powerless to carry out that punishment. The Lord did not just describe the chaplet, but made these promises to the Saint:

“I will grant thanks without number to those who recite this chaplet, because the recourse to My Passion moves the intimate of My Mercy. When you recite it, you bring humanity closer to me. The souls who pray to me with these words will be wrapped in my mercy for their whole life and in a special way at the moment of death ".

“Invite souls to recite this chaplet and I will give them what they ask for. If sinners say it, I will fill their soul with the peace of forgiveness and make their death happy. "

“Priests recommend it to those who live in sin as a table of salvation. Even the most hardened sinner, reciting, even if only once this chaplet, will receive some grace from my Mercy ".

“Write that when this chaplet is recited next to a dying person, I will place myself between that soul and my Father, not as a just judge, but as a savior. My infinite Mercy will embrace that soul in consideration of how much suffering in my Passion ".

The magnitude of the promises is not surprising. This prayer is of an extremely bare and essential style: it uses few words, as Jesus wants in his Gospel, it refers to the person of the Savior and the redemption that was accomplished by him. Obviously the effectiveness of this chaplet derives from this. St. Paul writes: "He who has not spared his own Son, but sacrificed him for all of us, how would he not give us anything else with him?" (Rom 8,32:XNUMX).

“Here is how you will recite the coronclna of my Mercy. You will start with:

Our Father, Ave Maria and the Creed.

Then, using a common rosary crown, on the beads of our Father you will recite the following prayer:

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, the Soul and Divinity of your Most Beloved Son and our Lord, Jesus Christ, in expiation for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the grains of Ave Maria, you will add ten times:

For his Painful Passion: have mercy on us and the whole world.

In the end, you will repeat this invocation three times:

Holy God, Holy Fort, Holy Immortal: have mercy on us and the whole world.

The chaplet of divine Mercy can very suitably complete the "novena". We read in fact: “The Lord told me to recite this chaplet during the nine days preceding the feast of Divine Mercy (the Sunday after Posqua) which begin on Good Friday. He said to me: In this novena I will grant all sorts of graces to souls "(II, 197).

ATTENTION: God's freedom must be respected, therefore even if grace is not obtained immediately, it is necessary to wait humbly and insist with prayer!
