What are the spiritual gifts that God can give to believers?

What are the spiritual gifts that God can do to believers? How many of them are there? Which of these are considered fruitful?

Starting from your second question on fruitful spiritual gifts, there is a Scripture that gives us a general answer. In the book of the Colossians Paul tells us that we should live our life worthy of our vocation, "to be fruitful in every good work" (Colossians 1:10). This is related to your first question about spiritual gifts which is extensively covered in many scriptures.

The first and most important of all spiritual blessings is available to all truly converted Christians. This precious gift is the grace of God (2 Corinthians 9:14, see also Ephesians 2: 8).

Because of conversion and grace, God uses each person's individuality to impart spiritual gifts, abilities, or attitudes. They don't have to be great qualities, as humans would see them, but God sees them from the master builder's perspective.

I wish all men were equal to myself. But everyone has his gift of God; one is this way, and another is this way (1 Corinthians 7: 7, HBFV in all).

God's grace should be manifested in the believer's spiritual or "fruitful" abilities. Paul says that these are: "love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, kindness, faith, meekness, self-control; there is no law against such things ”(Galatians 5:22 - 23). When you read these verses, you will notice that love is first in this spiritual list.

Love, therefore, is the greatest thing that God can give and is the result of his work in a Christian. Without it, everything else is useless.

The spiritual fruits or gifts of God, with love at the head of all, are also labeled as a "gift of justice" in Romans 5 verse 17.

The combination of the spiritual gifts listed in 1 Corinthians 12, Ephesians 4 and Romans 12 produces the following list of fruits generated by the Holy Spirit of God within a person.

A person can be spiritually blessed to organize projects and guide others, teach and encourage others in the Bible, discern spirits, evangelize, have extraordinary faith or generosity or be able to heal others.

Christians can also be spiritually gifted to be dedicated to helping others (the ministry), to interpret or pronounce messages in different languages, to work miracles or to speak prophetically. Christians can receive the power to be more merciful to others or the gifts to be informed and wise on particular topics.

Regardless of the spiritual gifts that are given to a Christian, it must always be remembered that God gives them so that they can be used to serve others. They should never be used to increase our ego or to look better in other people's eyes.
