When you don't find happiness, look for it inside
My friend, I am now writing to you a simple thought about life. Some time ago I wrote a meditation on life "all for the best" that you can find in my writings but today I want to go to the center of the entire existence of a man's life. If in the first meditation on life we understood that everything that happens in life is directed by a superior force which is God who can and has control over everything, now I want to tell you the true meaning of life. You, my dear friend, must know that you are not what you do or what they say about you, what you own or what you are going to conquer in this world. You are not your qualities or qualities or anything else you can do or have but you are the being, the truth and located within you, in your soul. This is why I now say to you "if you don't find happiness, look for it inside". Yes, dear friend, this is the true meaning of life is to seek the truth and make it the true meaning of life, your primary goal, beyond your achievements and laurels that you have in this world.
I tell you about me: after a youth without interests but passed without too many worries and problems I went to work in a family business. Work, wife, family, children, money, are all good things and must always be taken care of, but you, dear friend, must not forget that sooner or later these things disappoint you, you lose them, they are not eternal, they change. Instead you have to understand where you start and where you go, you have to understand the right direction, you have to understand the truth. In fact, going back to my experience, when I met Jesus and understood that it was he who had made sense to every man in this world thanks to his teaching and his sacrifice on the cross, then I saw in myself that everything I did and did has its sense sense if oriented towards the teaching of Jesus Christ. Sometimes in a day I have a thousand things to give but when I stop for a minute and think about the true meaning of my life, the truth, I realize that everything else that makes up my life and only a seasoning of an exquisite dish.
Dear friend, don't waste any more time, life is short, stop now and look for the meaning of your life, look for the truth. You will find it inside you. You will find it if you silence the noises of life and hear a divine, loving voice that will tell you what to do. In that place, in that voice, inside you, you will find the truth.
I conclude what my master said "seek the truth and the truth will set you free". You are a free man, do not be chained by this material world but find happiness within yourself, you will find happiness, when you connect God and your heart, then you will understand everything. Then you will conclude your existence with the words of Paul of Tarsus "I consider all garbage in order to conquer God".
