Who recites this chaplet. Some promises of Our Lady: "... the prayer of supplication is very powerful, and many graces will be granted ... I want to kindle in the hearts, all over the world, the Devotion to our United Hearts... Whoever recites the Chaplet before receiving Holy Communion will obtain a special grace ... ".
They are recited for 5 times 1 Pater and 3 Ave Maria: 1) In honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus 2) In honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary 3) Meditating on the Passion of the Lord 4) Meditating on the Sorrows of Mary Most Holy 5) In reparation of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
On the medal of the Two Hearts: O united Hearts of Jesus and Mary, you are all grace, all mercy, all love. May my heart be united with yours. So that my every need is present in Your United Hearts. Especially pour out your grace on this:… Help me recognize and accept your loving will in my life. Amen.
Fall before God. Prostrate yourself before him. If you can, do it literally. If it would be a distraction to others, do it internally. Throw yourselves prostrate before God and ask him to show you his divine mercy and his most holy will. There are many times in life when one or two simple prayers are not enough. What we need is to surrender ourselves totally to God. Obviously this is what we must do every day all day. But to bring this inner disposition of total abandonment to God, we need concrete moments in which we make this our act of absolute and complete surrender (See Journal # 9).
Reflect today on how deeply you pray. Do you offer only a few prayers here or there? Or take your time each week to perform a complete act abandonment and surrender to God? Do you intentionally lay your life before our Great God in total love and trust? If you are unsure, be sure to do it today.
Lord, I abandon myself to your hands and trust in your perfect goodness and mercy. I bow before Your Divine Majesty and surrender to Your loving care. Jesus, I'm totally yours. Jesus I believe in you.
