"Stay with me Lord" a request to be addressed to Jesus for Lent

“Lord, I ask you to stay with me during this time of Lent. I know it's not always easy to remain faithful to your will, but please help me persevere in my faith. I ask you to enlighten my mind and my heart, so that I can better understand your Word and put it into practice in my daily life.

I also ask that you grant me the strength and grace to overcome the temptations and challenges that I will encounter along my path. Help me grow spiritually and become a better person, closer to you and your love. I thank you for your constant presence in my life and I ask you to stay with me always. Amen."
