O Jesus, who triumphed over sin and death with your resurrection,
and you put on glory and immortal light,
also allow us to rise with you,
in order to begin a new, luminous, holy life together with you.
The divine change works in us, O Lord
that you work in the souls who love you:
grant that our spirit, admirably transformed by union with you,
shine with light, sing with joy, strive towards the good.
you, who with your victory have opened infinite horizons to men
of love and grace, it provokes in us the anxiety to spread
by word and example your message of salvation;
give us the zeal and ardor to work for the coming of your kingdom.
Let us be satisfied with your beauty and your light

ROSARY TO THE RISEN JESUS

INITIAL PRAYER:

O Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, accompany us on the journey of Christian life because we know how to recognize that the Risen Jesus is with us every day, until the end of the world. Help us to keep the lamp of faith lit and to do the works that the Lord prepares for each of us.

FIRST MYSTERY: THE RESOURCE SHOWS AT MADDALENA

Maria, on the other hand, stood outside near the tomb and wept. As she wept, she leaned towards the sepulcher and saw two angels in white robes, seated one on the side of the head and the other of the feet, where the body of Jesus had been placed. And they said to her: "Woman, why are you crying? ? ". He answered them, "They took my Lord away and I don't know where they placed him." Having said this, he turned back and saw Jesus standing there; but she did not know it was Jesus. Jesus said to her: “Woman, why are you crying? Who are you looking for?". She, thinking that he was the custodian of the garden, said to him: "Lord, if you took it away, tell me where you placed it and I will go and get it."

Jesus said to her: "Mary!". Then she turned to him and said to him in Hebrew: "Rabbi!", Which means: Master! Jesus said to her: “Do not hold me back, because I have not yet gone up to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them: I go up to my Father and your Father, my God and your God ”. Mary of Magdala went immediately to announce to the disciples: "I have seen the Lord" and also what he had said to her. (John 20,11-18)

SECRETARY MYSTERY: THE RESOURCE ON THE EMMAUS ROAD

And behold, on that same day two of them were on their way to a village about seven miles from Jerusalem, called Èmmaus, And they talked about everything that had happened. While they were talking and discussing together, Jesus himself approached and walked with them. But their eyes were unable to recognize it. And he said to them, "What are these talks you are making among you on the way?". They stopped, their faces sad; one of them, named Cleopa, said to him, "Are you the only foreigner in Jerusalem that you don't know what has happened to you these days?" He asked, "What?" They answered him: “Everything concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a powerful prophet in works and words, before God and all the people. And he said to them, "Foolish and heartfelt in believing the word of the prophets! Didn't Christ have to endure these sufferings to enter his glory? ”. And beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he explained to them in all the scriptures what referred to him. (Luke 24,13-19.25-27)

THIRD MYSTERY: THE RESOURCE SHOWS AT THE BREAK OF THE BREAD

When they were near the village where they were headed, he acted as if he had to go further. But they insisted: "Stay with us because it is evening and the day is already turning to decline". He entered to stay with them. When he was at the table with them, he took the bread, said the blessing, broke it and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him. But he disappeared from their sight. And they said to each other, "Didn't our hearts burn in our breasts as they conversed with us along the way, when they explained the scriptures to us?" And they left without delay and returned to Jerusalem, where they found the Eleven and the others who were with them, who said: "Truly the Lord is risen and has appeared to Simon." They then reported what had happened along the way and how they recognized it in breaking the bread. (Luke 24,28-35)

FOURTH MYSTERY: THE RISEN CONFIRMS THE FAITH OF TOMMASO

Thomas, one of the Twelve, called God, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples then said to him: «We have seen the Lord!». But he said to them, "If I do not see the sign of the nails in his hands and do not put my finger in the place of the nails and do not put my hand in his side, I will not believe."

Eight days later the disciples were at home again and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, behind closed doors, stopped among them and said: "Peace be with you!". Then he said to Thomas: "Put your finger here and look at my hands; stretch out your hand, and put it in my side; and no longer be incredulous but a believer! ». Thomas replied: "My Lord and my God!" Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are those who, even if they have not seen, will believe!" (John 20,24-29)

FIFTH MYSTERY: THE RESOURCE MEETS WITH ITS AT LAKE TIBERIADE

After these facts, Jesus manifested himself again to the disciples on the sea of Tiberiade. And it was thus manifested: they were together Simon Peter, Thomas called Dídimo, Natanaèle of Cana of Galilee, the sons of Zebedee and two other disciples. Simon Peter said to them, "I'm going fishing." They said to him, "We will come with you too." Then they went out and got into the boat; but on that night they took nothing. When it was already dawn, Jesus appeared on the shore, but the disciples had not noticed that it was Jesus. Jesus said to them: "Children, have you nothing to eat?". They said to him, "No." Then he said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat and you will find it." They threw it and could no longer pull it up for the large amount of fish. Then that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter: "It is the Lord!". As soon as Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put his shirt on his hips, as he was stripped, and threw himself into the sea. The other disciples instead came with the boat, dragging the net full of fish: in fact they were not far from the ground if not a hundred meters. As soon as they got off the ground, they saw a charcoal fire with fish on it, and some bread. Then Jesus approached, took the bread and gave it to them, and so did the fish. (John 21,1-9.13)

O Father who through your Only Son have overcome sin and death, grant your people to be renewed in the Holy Spirit, to be born again in the Light of the Risen Lord. We ask you for Christ, our Lord. Amen.
