Civil rite in modern society exceeds the religious one

In Italy the civil ceremony exceeds the religious one In our country, according to some statistics, it has emerged that civil marriage exceeds the religious one and this is mainly due to second marriages even if the marriage celebrated in the church remains a more admirable asset because it makes it more solid, deep and lasting relationship with respect to
civil wedding. In recent times, the Italian family has been hit by a profound economic crisis, deeply overwhelming our society. The data showed that cohabitation and separation are on the rise
while marriages, those celebrated in church, are decreasing. On the other hand, weddings celebrated with a civil rite prevail, also because one cannot remarry in church, unless the first bond has been dissolved by the Sacra Rota. Many young people today decide to get married after a long cohabitation or after completing their studies and finding a good one

job stability, consequently the tendency is to always arrange oneself later. The real effectiveness of religion on marriage does not end in marital solidity: the very presence at the celebrations, more often than not, decreases the risk of betrayal and, turning to God for one's partner enriches the sense of religiosity of the couple relationship, limiting thoughts and unfaithful attitudes. What is so unusual today about promising each other that mutual fidelity that is increasingly difficult to maintain, moreover in front of that God to whom one turns only when it suits? What's more than the madness of challenging the economic crisis with the resumption of emotional stability? Nobody says it's simple but it's worth it. The challenge of Christian spouses is to stay together and make sure that the love that grows is forever. Two people in love look like God and this is the greatest and most extraordinary beauty of marriage.
