Little Nicola Tanturli was found, thank God!

Great news. Praise the Lord.

Nicholas Tanturli, the 21-month-old child, who disappeared from the evening of Monday 21 June, in Campanara, in the municipality of Palazzolo sul Senio, near Florence, in the Alto Mugello, was found in good condition at the bottom of an escarpment, about 2,5 kilometers from his home. The little one was found by a journalist of "La vita in ricerca" of Rai 1.

The envoy immediately alerted the rescue teams in the area. The child is now undergoing the first medical examinations by the rescuers.

The Prefecture of Florence confirmed the discovery.

The little one, the daughter of a German couple, was in a canal that runs along the road that from the base camp, set up by the rescue, leads to Quadalto, a fraction of the municipality of Palazzuolo sul Senio, as reported by the Tuscan Alpine Rescue.

The searches had been going on all night and will go on for the whole day. There were also communication difficulties because the coverage of the mobile network in that part of the Apennines is incomplete and has many gaps away from the inhabited areas. The drones flew over and uncovered areas, outside the woods, to detect any signs of the child's passage.
