Santa Rita and the bees

Rita was a woman with a serene and calm soul, she was not capable of harboring hatred or grudge against anyone, not even towards whoever had murdered her husband. Returning to the association of the saint with the api, it all begins in the moment of his birth, when one swarm of white bees, wandered around in his cradle, entering his mouth without ever stinging it. Always the bees, this time black, come back to keep her company at the time of your death.

Another miraculous episode that binds the saint to bees always dates back to when Rita was very small. Her parents had left her in one basket in the fields under a tree while they worked. A farmer, passing by her, realized that some bees were wandering around her. The farmer who had wounded his arm with a scythe just before, raises his wounded arm to keep the bees away from the girl, when miraculously heals.

Roses

As for the combination of the Pink in Santa Rita, the episode is linked to a few moments before his death. On her deathbed the saint asked her cousin who went to visit her, to go to her house a Roccaporena and collect 1 rose and three figs. Her cousin was very surprised at this request, as she was January and in such a cold climate it was impossible for roses to grow.

Rita insisted and the woman tried to fulfill her wish. Once in the garden to the amazement of the woman I find in the garden a single rose and two figs.

The story also tells that on the evening of Good Friday of April 18, 1432, while Santa Rita was praying for the passion of Jesus, she received a plug of the crown of the Crucifix.

Also another miracle approaches Santa Rita to roses. When the saint decided to take her vows to enter the monastery, the abbess wanted to test her obedience and her vocation, making her water a dry vine shrub. That wood, which had been dead for some time, miraculously came back to life and began to be reborn and bear fruit again.
