Holiness and Saints: who are they?

The Saints they are not only good, righteous and pious people, but those who have purified and opened their hearts to God.
Perfection does not consist in the commission of miracles, but the purity of love. The veneration of the saints is: studying their experience of spiritual warfare (healing from certain passions); in imitation of their virtues (the result of spiritual warfare) in prayerful communion with them.
It is not a passage to heaven (God calls to himself) and a lesson for us.

Every Christian must find for himself a law, a duty and a desire to become a saint. If you live without effort and without the hope of being a saint, you are a Christian in name only, not in essence. Without holiness, no one will see the Lord, that is, he will not reach eternal bliss. La the truth is that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. But we are deceived if we think that we will be saved by remaining sinners. Christ saves sinners by giving them the means to become saints.

The path of holiness this is the way of active aspiration to God. Holiness is obtained when the will of a person begins to approach the will of God, when prayer is fulfilled in our life: "Thy will be done". The Church of Christ lives forever. He does not know the dead. Everyone is alive with her. We feel it especially in the veneration of the saints, where prayer and the glorification of the church unite those who have been separated for millennia.

You just need to believe in Christ as the Lord of life and death, and then death is not terrible and no loss is terrible.
The truth of God's heavenly intercession is of the saints first of all, the truth of faith. Those who have never prayed, have never given their lives under the protection of the saints, will not understand the meaning and cost of their care for the brothers left on earth.
