S. Angelo, You protect me from birth.
To you I entrust my heart: give it to my Savior Jesus,
since it belongs to him alone.
You are also my comforter in death!
Strengthen my faith and my hope,
light my heart of divine love!
Let my past life not afflict me,
that my present life does not disturb me,
may my future life not frighten me.
Strengthen my soul in the anguish of death;
teach me to be patient, keep me in peace!
Get me the grace to taste the Bread of Angels as my last food!
Let my last words be: Jesus, Mary and Joseph;
that my last breath is a love breath
and that your presence is my last comfort.

LET'S PRAY
Almighty and eternal God, who in your immense goodness,
you have placed a special angel close to each man from the womb
in defense of body and soul,
grant me, to faithfully follow and love my holy guardian angel.
Do that, with Your grace and under his protection,
come one day to the Celestial Fatherland and there,
together with him and with all the holy angels,
you deserve to contemplate your divine face.
