Purpose of the Angels: what can they help you?

Purpose of the angels
QUESTION: Purpose of the angels: are they special agents of God?

ANSWER: I

stores are full of jewelry, paintings, figurines and other items depicting angels, the "special agents" of God. They are mostly depicted as beautiful women, handsome men or children with cheerful looks on their faces. Not to refute these representations but to enlighten you, an angel could come to you in any form: a smiling woman, a bent old man, a person of different ethnicity.

A 2000 survey showed that 81% of adults surveyed believed that "angels exist and influence people's lives." 1

The name of God of Yahweh Saoboth is translated "God of angels". It is God who controls our lives and in doing so has the power to use the talents of his angels to deliver messages, execute his judgments (as on Sodom and Gomorrah), and any other assignment that God deems appropriate.

Purpose of the angels - What the Bible says about angels
In the Bible, God tells us how angels are sending messages, accompanying loners, ensuring protection and even fighting his battles. In many angelic apparitions recounted in our Bible, the angels who were sent to deliver messages began their words saying "Don't be afraid" or "Don't be afraid". Most of the time, however, the angels of God operate undercover and do not draw attention to themselves while carrying out the assignment given to them by God. There are cases in which these heavenly beings prove themselves and strike terror in the hearts of enemies of God.

Angels are actively involved in the life of God's people and perhaps also in the lives of all people. They have a specific function and it is a blessing that God sends an angel in response to your prayer or in times of need.
Psalm 34: 7 says: "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him and sets them free."

Hebrews 1:14 says: "Are not all angels who minister to the spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?"
It is possible that you met an angel face to face without realizing it:
Hebrews 13: 2 says: "Do not forget to entertain strangers, because in doing so some people entertained the angels without knowing it."
Purpose of the angels - At the service of God
I find it surprising to think that God loves me so much that I send an angel in response to a prayer. I believe, with all my heart, that even though I may not know or immediately see someone as an angel, they are there in the direction of God. I know that a stranger has given me valuable advice or helped me in a dangerous circumstance ... for then to disappear.

Imagine that angels are very beautiful, winged beings, dressed in white and almost brilliant cloaks with an aura of a halo that envelops the body. Although this may be true, God often sends them out as invisible beings or in special clothes to blend in with their surroundings as they perform their assigned duties.

Are these angels our loved ones who died? No, angels are creations of God. We, as human beings, are not angels and neither are our loved ones deceased.

Some people pray to an angel or form a special relationship with an angel. The Bible is very clear that the focus of prayer is to be on God alone and on developing a relationship with Him alone. An angel is a creation of God and angels should not be prayed for or worshiped.

Revelation 22: 8-9 says: “I, John, am the one who has listened and seen these things. And when I had listened and seen them, I fell to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown them to me. But he said to me: 'Don't do it! I am a service companion with you and your prophet brothers and all who observe the words of this book. Worship God! ' "
God works through angels and it is God who makes the decision to direct an angel to make his offerings, not the decision of an angel to act independently of God:
Angels carry out the judgment of God;
Angels serve God;
Angels praise God;
Angels are messengers;
Angels protect the people of God;
Angels don't marry;
Angels don't die;
Angels encourage people
