"If we see you, we will cut off your head", Taliban threaten Christians in Afghanistan

Thirteen Afghan Christians are hiding in a house in Kabul. One of them was able to tell the threats of the Taliban.

A Christian left behind, hiding in a house with 12 other Afghan Christians, testified to CBN News what the situation is. Without a passport or exit permit issued by the US government, none of them have been able to flee the country.

What CBN News calls Jaiuddin, maintaining anonymity for security reasons, he was identified by the Taliban. He says he gets threatening messages every day.

"Every day I get a phone call, from a private number, and the person, a Taliban soldier, warns me that if he sees me he beheads me".

At night, in their home, the 13 Christians take turns guarding and praying, ready to sound the alarm if the Taliban knock on the door.

Jaiuddin says he is not afraid of dying. Pray that "the Lord will place his angels" around their house.

“We pray for each other that the Lord will place his angels around our home for our protection and safety. We also pray for peace for everyone in our country ”.
