Secrets and advice of Santa Teresa that make you a good Christian

Bear the faults of others, do not be surprised by their weaknesses and instead build up the smallest acts that you see done;

Don't worry about being judged well by others;

Do for unpleasant people, all that would be done for nicer people;

Never apologize or defend yourself against accusations;

Do not be disheartened in seeing oneself weak and imperfect, on the contrary to have cause for joy because Jesus covers the multitude of sins;

Give to those who ask with malagrazia responding with kindness;

Be happy if they take something of ours or ask us for a service that is not up to us, be happy to interrupt a work in progress for charity;

Spiritual goods are also a gift that does not belong to us, so we must be happy if someone appropriates our intuitions or prayers;

Do not seek human consolations but leave everything to God;

When a task seems superior to our strength, put ourselves in the arms of Jesus knowing that alone we are not capable of anything;

If you have to take someone back, accept the suffering of having to do it while feeling incapable and not up to it;

Do not try to attract the hearts of others to yourself but lead them to God by useless servants;

Don't be afraid to be severe if there is no need, always pray before saying something;

In dryness, recite the Pater and the Ave very slowly;

Accept humiliation and criticism with gratitude;

Seek the company of people less liked by others;

To offer the Lord the things that cost us trying to please us;

Accept that your work is not considered;

The more the fire of God's love will set our hearts on fire, the closer the souls will come to us will run after the love of God;

To suffer moment by moment what God sends us, without worrying about the future.

Saint Teresa of Lisieux

Alençon (France), 2 January 1873 - Lisieux, 30 September 1897

Virgin and doctor of the Church: still a teenager in the Carmel of Lisieux in France, she became a teacher of holiness in Christ for purity and simplicity of life, teaching the way of spiritual childhood to reach Christian perfection and placing every mystical concern at the service of salvation of the souls and growth of the Church. He ended his life on September 30, at the age of twenty-five.

NOVENA OF THE ROSES

“I will spend my Heaven doing good on earth. I will bring down a shower of roses "(Santa Teresa)

Father Putigan on December 3 1925, he began a novena asking for an important grace. To find out if he was being answered, he asked for a sign. He wished to receive a rose as a guarantee of having obtained grace. He didn't say a word to anyone about the novena he was doing. On the third day, he received the requested rose and obtained the pardon. Another novena began. He received another rose and another grace. Then he made the decision to spread the "miraculous" novena called roses.
