When little Bella is born, silence falls in the delivery room

Pregnancy and the wait to give birth to a new life is a period of happiness, doubts, fears and emotions. A period in which we wait to begin a new phase of life. Then the birth that dissolves every doubt and uncertainty, the moment when a dream comes true. This is what should happen but sometimes not everything goes as planned, as in the case of the little girl Bella.

During pregnancy, the mother underwent tests and ultrasounds but she had never been diagnosed with anything particular, everything was normal. However, at the moment of delivery and birth, when everyone in her room was silent and no one wished her a happy birthday, she realized that something was wrong.

The little girl is born with one rare syndrome which gives it a particular appearance, especially the ears, which were much smaller than normal. The little girl is immediately transported in intensive therapy and after various tests the doctors discover that he suffers from the syndrome Treacher Collins.

Symptoms can range from mild to severe and may include malformations of the skull and facial bones, ear deformity external and middle ear, cleft palate, eye malformations and hearing problems. Bella was born with almost all the symptoms of the disease.

Her life it promises to be difficult and full of obstacles to overcome but Fortunately she has 2 loving parents at her side who welcomed her right from the start and are ready to support her along her journey, filling her withlove and affection.
