Simone or Pietro? The truth about the wedding of St. Peter

"Was Saint Peter married?" this is the doubt that has always tormented the faithful, in the passage where the Gospel reports: “Then Jesus, entering the house of Peter, saw his mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever; and he touched her hand and the fever left her. " (Matthew 8:14) from this it follows that Simon called only later by Jesus with the name Peter had a mother-in-law, and therefore a wife is also assumed. Evangelists on this issue are a bit vague and there are many dark sides like many orators define, Peter chose to follow Jesus and therefore it is assumed that he left his wife.

The Bible speaks to us of Petronilla, it seems she is a daughter of Peter and they have the same name in common, but Peter before knowing Jesus was called Simon. Something comes back and something doesn't come back! The evangelists loved to leave the doubt in which he read the word God, but in reality we sabbath of Peter's mother-in-law and a daughter, if Peter was a widower when he met Jesus? and the name Petronilla was a coincidence? Some Roman theologians report these words: Paul was not married and 'holds the role of the elder that is (bishop) Peter was married and holds the role of the secretary of the elder. St. Peter was not covered in gold! The pope is! The pope is not married! St. Peter was !, doubts and uncertainties about the "Peter" speech for the faithful remembering that he was the first pope of Rome.
