The relics of the blood of Pope San Giovanni Paolo II were exhibited in Partanico, after four days of exposure in the church of the Santissimo Salvatore, directed by Don Carmelo Migliore. To close the event, a liturgical concelebration, presided over by the archpriest and vicar forane, Monsignor Salvatore Salvia.

In Partinico there would also have been some tangible benefits: a seminarian and missionary of the Precious Blood, Giampiero Lunetto, 28 years old from Partinico, already close to the priesthood and studying in Rome, after seeing St. Paul John Paul II in a dream, was cured of a rare degenerative muscle disease, for which there is no cure: his future was in a wheelchair. "Now - he says - I am completely healed. The latest tests, which arrived a few months ago, have confirmed that the disease is gone. This is a great miracle for me. Faith, love, trust in Jesus Christ move the mountains ». Giampiero Lunetto for the first time tells of this prodigious healing and his illness, defined by the same «an opportunity not to be missed. An opportunity given to me by God last year, to be stronger, to grow as a person and as a Christian ».

Touching and full of deep reflections, the letter that this seminarian wrote to Pope Benedict XVI, from which he was received in a private audience. A letter to which the Pope emeritus replied, telling him that the words he had written had deeply moved him. Giampiero Lunetto also met Pope Francis, who encouraged him to continue on his journey of love.
