Spirituality: live the present to the fullest

Does it ever happen - as it happens for most people - that, as the day draws to a close, one gets the impression that it has passed like a flash? Certainly. Let's take a look at this phenomenon ...

Time, this unknown element
Everyone lives in the present moment. However, few are those who are aware of it. Our modern lifestyle pushes us to run, to fill our agenda with a thousand important things (or less) - the goal is to take care of ourselves as much as possible, every minute.

Is this also your case? Has your day gone by like a flash? This can be interpreted in two ways:

The first positive way is that you didn't have to face misfortunes during that day; because, when you suffer, time drags on forever and every minute seems like an eternity.
The second and negative is that you cannot live this day with full awareness. In this case, you missed the most important thing: the succession of moments that can - provided you know how to grasp them - bring infinite happiness.
Times slip through our fingers
In most cases, if you spend the day at lightning speed, without taking the time to rest or enjoy the minimum moment, do what almost everyone else does: let time slip through your fingers while you wait something vaguely happen. Something positive, obviously. You even dream of the impossible sometimes. However, most of the time, nothing happens.

So you think about tomorrow and you tell yourself that the next day will be more interesting, more brilliant than today. But tomorrow may not be so good. The days pass and, while you think about it and while you watch the time go by and the years pass too quickly, you may start to feel a lump in your throat.

Time, a moment to tame
What I want to help you understand is that the key to happiness does not lie in a hypothetical future, even less in the dead past, but in the "present" moment.

I also want to convince you that the "present time" is a true gift from Heaven and that the present moment is eternity. Finally, I want to teach you that it is possible to live life in the here and now to the fullest. Being aware of this is the first step.

My advice: take a few minutes for yourself every day; get some rest, drink tea or a simple glass of water. Savor these minutes of peace, enjoy the silence.
