Statue of the Sacred Heart saves a little girl after a collapse, the story of her grandfather

A two-year-old girl survived 25 minutes under the rubble after an accident that devastated her home due to heavy rain. He tells it Church Pop.

Her parents said that the little girl was miraculously saved because an image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus prevented her from being crushed from the ceiling.

The episode took place in the municipality of Tovarin Venezuela. Isabella and her mother were indoors during the heavy rains. Suddenly, the water produced a huge avalanche of mud that hit the house.

The grandfather and great-grandfather arrived on the spot and saw the little girl's leg under the rubble. Desperate, expecting the worst, they began digging to save her and were surprised when they saw her hurt but alive.

The image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus had formed a square between the wall and the floor, protecting the little girl from falling from the ceiling and preventing a beam from hitting her. For Jose Luis, the child's grandfather, that image saved Isabella and it was a "miracle".

After being rescued from the rubble, the girl was taken to the hospital where she was operated on for a fractured arm and skull, with a favorable diagnosis.

As a result of the disaster, at least 20 people lost their lives in the municipality of Tovar. Over 700 houses were destroyed. José Luis thanked God, the Sacred Heart and all the people who helped Isabella. A story of hope in the midst of a tragedy.
