Stories and mysteries: between Elia in Puglia like Padre Pio?

Like St. Francis and St. Padre Pio, the Lord intimately united with him through the stigmata and a mystical life rich in numerous charisms (healings, conversions, locutions, bilocation, etc.) and the continuous assistance of angels and saints. Fra 'Elia is a consecrated layman. Every year he renews the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. He founded a new congregation called "Apostles of God". It is under observation by the Church and its Bishop, Mons. Vincenzo Paglia, Bishop of Terni,

Fra 'Elia was born in 1962 in Puglia. Already as a child he was favored by supernatural communications. During Lent he could not eat and neither his family nor the doctors where he was hospitalized understood why. After being hired by the post office, he entered with the Capuchin Friars. When the stigmata appeared at age 27, Fra Elia vehemently refused to accept them. He left the Capuchin convent hoping that they would disappear… but they didn't! Some time later he entered a monastery where no one knew about him or who he was, and there he spent months in prayer and meditation. When he came out he knew what God wanted of him, that he was to be a "pilgrim in the world and for the world", an apostle of God.

He finally understood and accepted his vocation. As an 'Apostle of God' in the world and for the world, in his own way he will follow the mission of Padre Pio. Every Friday the sufferings of Fra Elia are more painful because his wounds open, and every year he suffers the whole Passion during Holy Week. Certified by eminent medical specialists, he dies on Good Friday. Heavenly scents surround him when the stigmata are open. He, together with his consecrated lay brothers, lives of Divine Providence, praying and working on the reconstruction of the convent in which they live.
