Petition to the Virgin of Guadalupe to be recited today to obtain a grace

Immaculate Virgin of Guadalupe, Mother of Jesus and our Mother, winner of sin and enemy of the Devil, You manifested yourself on the Tepeyac hill in Mexico to the humble and generous peasant Giandiego. On his cloak you impressed Your sweet Image as a sign of Your presence among the people and as a guarantee that you would listen to his prayers and soften his sufferings. Mary, most amiable Mother, today we offer ourselves to you and consecrate forever to your Immaculate Heart all that remains of this life, our body with its miseries, our soul with its weaknesses, our heart with its worries and desires, prayers, sufferings, agony. O sweetest Mother, always remember your children. If we, overcome by despair and sadness, by turmoil and anguish, sometimes have to forget about you, then, compassionate Mother, for the love you bring to Jesus, we ask you to protect us as your children and not to abandon us until when we have not reached the safe harbor, to rejoice with you, with all the saints, in the beatific vision of the Father.
