Petition to the Souls of Purgatory to be recited in this month of November

PRAYERS TO THE PAINFUL HEART OF MARY IN SUFFRAGE OF THE SOULS OF THE PURGATORY

1. I feel pity, sorrowful Mother, for the affliction that your tender Heart suffered from the prophecy of the holy Simeon. Dear Mother, for your afflicted Heart, I pray that the Souls of my dear departed receive the happy announcement and comfort in the pains of Purgatory. Our Father, Ave Maria, eternal rest.

2. I feel pity, sorrowful Mother, for the sufferings that your most sensitive Heart felt in the flight and in the period in which you lived in Egypt. Dear Mother, for your heart so distressed, I pray that the souls of my brothers and sisters will find relief from the sufferings of Purgatory. Our Father, Ave Maria, eternal rest.

3. I feel pity, sorrowful Mother, for the concern that your maternal Heart felt in the three days in which you sought your dear Jesus in Jerusalem. Dear Mother, for your Heart gripped by the anxiety for the search for the Child, I pray that the Souls of my dear departed ones are freed from Purgatory and are born to the eternal grace of heaven accompanied by the Angels. Our Father, Ave Maria, eternal rest.

4. I feel mercy, Mary grieved, for the consternation that your maternal Heart felt in meeting Jesus who carried the Cross. Dear Mother, for your troubled Heart, I pray that the souls of my deceased feel the help of your powerful grace, to be free from the pains of Purgatory. Our Father, Ave Maria, eternal rest.

5. I feel pity, Mary grieved, for the martyrdom that your generous Heart sustained in assisting Jesus in agony. Dear Mother, for your Heart gripped by a terrible grip of pain, I pray that the Souls of Purgatory will be freed from all trouble and pain and enter happily into the new life of joy. Our Father, Ave Maria, eternal rest.

6. I feel pity, Mary of Sorrows, for the wounds that were opened in your merciful Heart when the soldier hit the Rib of Jesus with his spear and open the Holy Heart. Dear Mother, in that moment also your Heart was pierced; for this excruciating pain I beg You to intervene so that the Souls of all my dear departed are freed from Purgatory and transported by the Angels to Heaven. Our Father, Ave Maria, eternal rest.

7. I feel pity, Mary of Sorrows, for the desolation that your Heart felt in the burial of Jesus. Dear Mother, for this great pain of yours, I pray you, as Mother of God to whom the Son cannot deny anything, to intervene so that the souls of my dear departed come out of Purgatory and soon arrive in the peace of blessed Eternity.
