Begging to say in an impossible situation and a desperate case

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O Eccelsa thaumaturga of the Catholic world, o glorious St. Rita of Cascia, as prayer rises on you from our hearts on this day dedicated by the Church to your feast!

In this solemn hour, thousands and thousands of hearts turn to you with trust and full of holy hope, I too unite my humble prayer, so that you may present it to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, and to His Immaculate Mother Mary, and I will impetri the graces I need so much.

O great Saint of Cascia, will it ever be possible that my trust in your patronage remains disappointed? And are you not You, whom people call the Saint of the impossible, the advocate of desperate cases? And I, in fact, find myself in such unhappy conditions for my faults! Will You want to look away from me?

Will your heart be closed only for me? Only I will not have to experience Your powerful intercession? I know that I am unworthy of it for my very serious sins. Well, here you will see your heavenly charity, your great love, obtaining the salvation of my soul. This is the grace, which I mainly ask God, for Your mercy, on this day sacred to Your birthplace in Paradise; and with this the other graces necessary for my state.

O good S. Rita, satisfy my vows, listen to my moans, dry my tears; and I too will proclaim to the world: Whoever wants grace may ask God, through His faithful servant St. Rita of Cascia, and surely it will be answered.

On this day of glory, in which the greatest and most alive is the common trust in Your patronage, which I implore on me, on the Vicar of Jesus Christ, on the Catholic Episcopate and priesthood, on Your Religious Brothers and Sisters, who form the elect son of the great St. Augustine, on the benefactors of Your sanctuary and Monastery of Cascia, on the sick, the poor, the derelict, on sinners, on everyone and on the holy souls of Purgatory.

O most lovable bride of Jesus Crucified, from whom you had as a gift one of the thorns of His most sacred crown, on this day of Your triumph, help me, and Your protection accompany me to the point of my death. So be it.
