Supplication to Our Lady of Pompeii: May 8, the day of graces, the day of Mary

Supplication to the Madonna of Pompeii. In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O Augusta Queen of Victories, O Sovereign of Heaven and Earth, in whose name the heavens rejoice and the abysses tremble, O glorious Queen of the Rosary, we devoted children of yours, gathered in your Temple of Pompeii, on this solemn day, pour out the affections of our heart and with the confidence of children we express our miseries to you. From the throne of clemency, where you sit Queen, turn, O Mary, your merciful gaze on us, on our families, on Italy, on Europe, on the world. Take pity on you for the troubles and troubles that embitter our life.

See, O Mother, how many dangers in the soul and in the body, how many calamities and afflictions they force us. O Mother, implore for us mercy from Your divine Son and win the hearts of sinners with clemency. They are our brothers and your children who cost the sweet Jesus blood and sadden your most sensitive Heart. Show yourself to everyone what you are, Queen of peace and forgiveness. Ave Maria

Supplication to the Madonna of Pompeii written by Bartalo Longo

It is true that we, first of all, although your children, with sins go back to crucify Jesus in our hearts and pierce your heart again.
We confess it: we deserve the harshest punishments, but remember that on Golgotha, you collected, with the divine Blood, the testament of the dying Redeemer, who declared you our Mother, Mother of sinners. Therefore, as our Mother, you are our Advocate, our hope.

And we, weep, stretch out our pleading hands to you, crying: Mercy! O good Mother, have mercy on us, on our souls, on our families, on our relatives, on our friends, on our dead, above all on our enemies and on so many who call themselves Christians, yet offend the lovable Heart of your Son. Mercy today we implore for the astray nations, for all of Europe, for the whole world, so that you may return repentant to your Heart. Mercy for all, O Mother of Mercy! Ave Maria

We pray the supplication to Mary

Benignly, O Mary, to grant us! Jesus has placed all the treasures of His graces and mercies in your hands.
You sit, crowned Queen, at the right hand of your Son, shining with immortal glory on all the choirs of angels. You extend your dominion as far as the heavens are extended, and the earth and all creatures are subject to you. You are the almighty by grace, so you can help us.

If you did not want to help us, because we are ungrateful children and undeserving of your protection, we would not know who to turn to. Your mother's heart will not allow us, your children, lost, to see the Child we see on your knees and the mystical Crown that we look at in your hand, inspire us with confidence that we will be heard. And we fully trust in you, we abandon ourselves as weak children in the arms of the most tender of mothers, and, today, we await the long-awaited graces from you. Ave Maria

Petition to Our Lady of Pompeii

We ask the blessing to Maria

We now ask you for one last grace, O Queen, which you cannot deny us on this most solemn day. Grant us all your constant love and in a special way your maternal blessing. We will not detach from you until you have blessed us. Bless, oh Mary, at this moment, the Supreme Pontiff. To the ancient splendors of your Crown, to the triumphs of your Rosary, whence you are called Queen of Victories, add this again, O Mother: grant triumph to Religion and peace to human Society.

Bless our Bishops, Priests and especially all those who are zealous for the honor of your Shrine. Finally, bless all those associated with your Temple of Pompeii and those who cultivate and promote devotion to the Holy Rosary. O blessed Rosary of Mary, sweet Chain that binds us to God, bond of love that unites us to the Angels, tower of salvation in the assaults of hell, safe harbor in the common shipwreck, we will never leave you again. You will be comfort in the hour of agony, to you the last kiss of life that goes out. And the last accent of our lips will be your sweet name, or Queen of the Rosary of Pompeii, or our dear Mother, or Refuge of sinners, or Sovereign consoler of the sad. Be blessed everywhere, today and always, on earth and in heaven. Amen. Hi Regina. At the end of the Supplication let us invoke Bartalo Longo.
