Testimony of a homosexual convert in Medjugorje

Our Lady always amazes us for the delicacy that she uses to help her children achieve a rebirth of their whole being when they abandon themselves to her with confidence. Samuel, a French hairdresser, came on pilgrimage last winter to Medjugorje and says:

“I was homosexual. Although I received a Catholic education in my childhood, my life was very far from God. In Paris I frequented the most perverse discos and my greatest concern was to appear. At 36, during an emergency hospitalization, I found out that I was suffering from AIDS. At that moment I remembered God but, once I left the hospital, I continued for three years to look for the man in my life ... Finally, from disappointment to disappointment and from emptiness to emptiness, I realized that I was going through a fake Street. I then began to direct my life towards God; only He could in fact give me the love I desperately thirsted for.

I wanted to convert and one day I had a book on Medjugorje in my hands and I discovered that in that place everyone finds a new life and a new hope. I, who as a guy was pretty tough, cried all my tears, was upset. I therefore went to Medjugorje and was struck by the intense presence of Mary, my Mother, who communicated to me a great inner peace. From that moment on, every day I try to change my heart and look towards God.

I recently converted, I am still very weak and vulnerable, but every day my heart overflows with joy for having found my Creator and my Mother. This disease that could have killed me, God used it to revive me.

To those who are today as I was before, I want to say: God exists, He is the truth! ”.
