Testimony of Santa Faustina sul Purgatorio

Once at night one of our sisters came to see me, who had died two months earlier. She was a nun of the first choir. The following night he came again and was in an even more frightening state, amid thicker flames, despair was evident on his face. I was very surprised to see her in more horrible conditions, after the prayers I had offered for her, and I asked her: “Did my prayers not help you at all? ". She replied that my prayers had not helped her and that nothing could help her. I asked: «And the prayers made for you by the whole Congregation, even those have not helped you anything? ". He replied: «Nothing. Those prayers have gone to the profit of other souls ». And I said to her: "If my prayers don't help you at all, please don't come to me." And it disappeared immediately. But I did not stop praying. After a while he came to me again at night, but in a different state. He was not in the flames as before and his face was radiant, his eyes sparkled with joy and he told me that I had true love for my neighbor, that many other souls had benefited from my prayers and he urged me not to stop praying for suffering souls in purgatory and told me that she would not stay long in purgatory. God's judgments are truly mysterious!
