He transcribes verses on the facade of the house, risks arrest if he does not delete them

Yuri Perez Osorio lives in Havana, the Cuban capital. He wrote a verse of the prophet Isaiah that speaks of tyranny. Summoned by the police, he has 72 hours to remove it before being taken into custody.

On the facade of his house, Yuri showed verses 1 and 2 of the first chapter of Isaiah.

"Woe to those who issue unjust decrees and those who continue to draw up unjust sentences to deny justice to the poor, to deprive the poor of my people of right, and thus make widows their prey and orphans their spoils.".

One of his friends, Yuriner Enriquez, shared her story on social media. He said that while he was questioned by the police, he continued to persevere in the Faith.

“Yuri was able to preach to all the officers there and only responded with the word of God. This raised the spirits of the officers even more, who could only threaten him helplessly. He remained steadfast in his belief that he was making his mark. We continue to pray ”.
