Daily tribute of praise to the Virgin Mary: Tuesday 22 October

PRAYER to be recited every day before reciting the Psalms
Virgin Most Holy Mother of the Incarnate Word, Treasurer of graces, and refuge of us miserable sinners, full of trust we resort to your motherly love, and we ask you for the grace to always do the will of God and of you. We deliver our heart in your most holy hands. We ask you for the health of the soul and body, and we certainly hope that you, our very loving Mother, will hear us by interceding for us; and yet with lively faith we say:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. You are blessed among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

My God I am indignant to have the gift for all the days of my life to honor your Daughter, Mother and Bride, Most Holy Mary with the following tribute of praise. You will grant it to me for your infinite mercy, and for the merits of Jesus and of Maria.
V. Enlighten me at the hour of my death, so that I do not have to fall asleep in sin.
R. So that my opponent can never boast of having prevailed against me.
V. O my God, wait to help me.
R. Hurry, O Lord, to my defense.

Glory be to the Father to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning now and always for ever and ever.

Antif. May my grace protect me for as long as I live: and your sweet presence honor my death.

PSALM LVVI.
God use us mercy and bless us through the intercession of what generated him on earth.
Have mercy on us, O Lady, and help us with your prayers in a holy beloved, who draws us from you, change our sadness.
O auspicious star of the sea, give us light: Virgin, most resplendent, be my escort to eternal clarity.
Extinguish any vicious ardor in my heart; refrigerate me with your grace.
May your grace protect me for as long as I live: and your sweet presence honor my death.

Glory be to the Father to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning now and always for ever and ever.

Antif. May my grace protect me for as long as I live: and your sweet presence honor my death.

Antif. Assist, O Lady, for me in the judgment: and in the sight of God, be a Advocate, and take to defend my cause.

PSALM LXXII.
How good is the Lord God of Israel ever: for those who devote respect, and honor the Mother!
For She is our consolation: and our sweetest comfort in labor.
My enemy filled my soul with black haze. Deh! fairies, madam, what heavenly light springs in my heart.
Divine anger may go far from me through your mediation: appease the Lord to yours with the virtue of your merits and prayers.
Attend the judgment for me: and before the divine Judge, take up my defense, and be my Advocate.

Glory be to the Father to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning now and always for ever and ever.

Antif. Assist, O Lady, to bring me to judgment: and in the sight of God, be a Advocate, and take to defend my cause.

Antif. Erect my pusillanimity with holy confidence, O Lady, and do with your holy help that I can survive the dangers of death.

PSALM LXXVI.
I cried out in a pleading voice to Mary my Lady: and soon it was intended to help me with her grace.
He cleared my heart of sorrow and anxiety: with his sweet assistance he flooded my spirit with celestial sweetness.
My pusillanimity was expressed in holy trust: and with its sweet aspect it brightened my mind.
With the saint of Her help, I avoided the dangers of death: and I withdrew from the power of the fierce infernal enemy.
Thank you I give to God, and to you, O most pure Mother: for all the goods that I have obtained through your mercy and mercy.

Glory be to the Father to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning now and always for ever and ever.

Antif. Erect my pusillanimity with holy confidence, O Lady, and do with your holy help that I can survive the dangers of death.

Antif. Get out of the dust of your sins, my soul, run to pay respect to the Queen of Heaven.

PSALM LXXIX.
O God, who govern your chosen people, bend benignly to listen to me:
Deh! let me worthily praise your Most Holy Mother.
Get out of the dust of your sins, my soul: run to pay respect to the Queen of Heaven.
Untie the bonds which enslave you as a slave, or mean in my soul: and with worthy applause made to welcome her.
A vivifying smell of her spread: every healthy influence from her heart is handed down.
To the sweet fragrance of his heavenly favors: every soul that lives to grace is revived.

Glory be to the Father to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning now and always for ever and ever.

Antif. Get out of the dust of your sins, my soul, run to pay respect to the Queen of Heaven.

Antif. Do not abandon me, O Lady, neither in life nor in death; but intercede for me with your son Jesus Christ.

PSALM LXXXIII.
How dear are your Tabernacles, O Lady of virtues! how lovable your tents, where redemption and health are found.
Honor her as well, o sinners: and you will see how she will know how to beg you thanks for conversion and salvation.
His prayers are more grateful than incense and balm: his almost fragrant instances do not come back useless, nor without fruit.
Intercede for me, O Lady, with Jesus Christ your Son: and in life and death do not abandon me.
Your spirit is a spirit of clemency: and your grace is fully spread over the whole earth.

Glory be to the Father to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning now and always for ever and ever.

Antif. Do not abandon me, O Lady, neither in life nor in death; but intercede for me with your son Jesus Christ.

SONG

We praise, O Mary, as Mother of God, we confess your merits as Mother and Virgin, and reverently we adore.
To you the whole earth prostrates itself obsequiously, as to the august daughter of the eternal Parent.
To you all the Angels and the Archangels; to you the thrones and principalities lend faithful service.
To you all the Podestàs and the heavenly Virtues: all together the Dominations respectfully obey.
The choirs of the Angels, the Cherubim and the Seraphim assist exultantly to your Throne.
In your honor every angelic creature makes its melodious voices resound, to you singing incessantly.
Holy, Holy, Holy You are, Mary Mother of God, Mother together and Virgin.
The heaven and the earth are filled with the majesty and glory of the chosen fruit of your chaste breast.
You exalt the glorious choir of the Holy Apostles, as Mother of their Creator.
You glorify the white class of the blessed Martyrs, like the one you gave birth to the immaculate Christ Lamb.
You the inclined host of the Confessors praises, a living Temple appealing to the Holy Trinity.
You the Virgin Saints in a lovely commendation, as a perfect example of virginal candor and humility.
You the heavenly Court, as its Queen honors and venerates.
By invoking you for everything, the Holy Church glorifies proclaiming you: august mother of divine majesty.
Venerable Mother, who truly gave birth to the King of Heaven: Mother also Holy, sweet and pious.
You are the Sovereign woman of the Angels: You are the door to Heaven.
You are the ladder of the heavenly Kingdom, and of blessed glory.
You the Thalamus of the divine Bridegroom: You the precious Ark of mercy and grace.
You source of mercy; You Bride together is Mother of the King of the ages.
You, Temple and Shrine of the Holy Spirit, You noble Ricetto of all the most august Triad.
You mighty Mediatrix between God and men; loving us mortals, Dispenser of the heavenly lights.
You Fortress of the Fighters; Merciful advocate of the poor, and Refugio of sinners.
You Distributor of the supreme gifts; You invincible Exterminator, and Terror of demons and pride.
You Mistress of the world, Queen of Heaven; You after God our only Hope.
You are the Salvation of those who invoke you, Port of the castaways, Relief of the poor, Asylum of the dying.
You Mother of all the elect, in whom they find full joy after God;
You the Consolation of all the blessed citizens of Heaven.
You Promoter of the righteous to glory, Gatherer of the miserable wanders: promise already from God to the Patriarch Saints.
You Light of truth to the Prophets, Minister of wisdom to the Apostles, Teacher to the Evangelists.
You Founder of fearlessness to the Martyrs, Specimen of every virtue to the Confessors, Ornament and Joy to the Virgins.
To save the mortal exiles from eternal death, you welcomed the divine Son in the virginal Womb.
For you it was that the ancient serpent was defeated, I reopened the eternal Kingdom to the faithful.
You with your divine Son take up residence in Heaven at the right hand of the Father.
Well! You, O Virgin Mary, beg for us the same divine Son, who we believe must one day be our Judge.
Your help therefore implore us your servants, redeemed already with the precious blood of your son.

Deh! do, O merciful Virgin, that we too can reach the Saints with you to enjoy the prize of eternal glory.
Save your people, O Lady, so that we can enter part of the inheritance of your son.
You hold us with your holy advice: and keep us for blessed eternity.
In all the days of our lives, we wish, O merciful Mother, to pay our respects to you.
And we yearn to sing your praises for all eternity, with our mind and with our Voice.
Dign yourselves, sweet Mother Maria, to keep us immune now, and forever from all sin.
Have mercy on us or good Mother, have mercy on us.
May your great mercy always work within us; since in you, great Virgin Mary, we have our trust.
Yes, we hope in you, O dear Mary our Mother; defend us forever.
Praise and Empire to you, O Mary: virtue and glory to you for all the ages of centuries. So be it.
