A Brazilian archbishop: "Medjugorje is gift and grace"

The archbishop of Maringa in Brazil, Murillo Krieger, already seen years ago in Medjugorje together with thirty priests from his first diocese for a retreat, was again in Medjugorje from 25 to 28 February last. In the homily delivered in the evening Mass of 27, he mentioned his previous visits (the first in May 1985 immediately after his episcopal consecration) underlining how Medjugorje is always alive in his heart. “I see Medjugorje - he said - as a gift and a responsibility. Medjugorje is gift and grace. The Virgin gives all those who come here the opportunity to find that same love and tenderness shown by her in Cana of Galilee. The Virgin approaches us and asks us "do whatever he tells you". If our hearts were ready and open to follow the path of Christ, then all that the Lord wanted to accomplish through Medjugorje would certainly be accomplished. Is it so difficult to give our heart to Jesus Christ? Medjugorje is a great responsibility: I understood it immediately, from the first moment, setting foot on the soil of Medjugorje. Looking and listening to the visionaries, I came to the conclusion that they need our prayer in order to remain faithful to their mission. From that moment I decided to dedicate the first Rosary of my day to them. This is my little gift; in this way I offer them support and help. "

CONSECRATION PRAYER TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS

Jesus, we know that you are merciful and that you have offered your heart for us.
It is crowned with thorns and our sins. We know that you constantly beg us so that we don't get lost. Jesus, remember us when we are in sin. Through Your Heart make all men love each other. Hatred will disappear among men. Show us your love. We all love you and want you to protect us with your Shepherd's heart and free us from all sin. Jesus, enter every heart! Knock, knock on the door of our heart. Be patient and never give up. We are still closed because we have not understood your love. He knocks constantly. Oh good Jesus, let us open our hearts to you at least when we remember your passion for us. Amen.

Grant that we can always look at the goodness of your motherly heart
and that we convert by means of the flame of Your Heart. Amen.

PRAYER TO THE MOTHER OF BONTA, LOVE AND MERCY

O my Mother, Mother of kindness, love and mercy, I love you infinitely and I offer you myself. Through your goodness, your love and your grace, save me.
I want to be yours. I love you infinitely, and I want you to keep me safe. From the bottom of my heart I beg You, Mother of kindness, give me Your kindness. Grant that through it I acquire Heaven. I pray for Your infinite love, to give me graces, so that I may love every man, as You have loved Jesus Christ. I pray that You will give me the grace to be merciful to You. I offer you totally myself and I want you to follow my every step. Because you are full of grace. And I wish I never forget it. And if by chance I lose the grace, please return it to me. Amen.
