A sacrament to always do: blessed water

It can only be blessed by a priest with some special prayers and by infusing a little blessed salt. It is used to sprinkle to bless things, places and people. Always have a well-stocked stoup in your home. Among so much row of perfumed and medicinal waters, the blessed water has been forgotten. Among the many bottles that clutter the rooms there is no longer the bottle of Holy Water. The use of it in the Church is very ancient and history shows us its great efficacy especially against the devil. The two Ilysses of IlIfurt, when they were presented with a food in which even a single drop of blessed water had been put, gave in fury and it was not possible to make him eat it. Because of that special power that the devil has acquired over all nature because of sin, the Church uses to bless with the Holy Water all that is destined for worship, indeed also that which is destined for the common uses of life. The little esteem and therefore the little efficacy of blessings depends on the little faith of those who receive them and also of those who give them. Holy water, used in the proper way, forgives venial sins, when those who use them have pain in their hearts; disposes the soul to receive the gifts of God, puts the devil on the run, sometimes free even from the pains and infirmities of the body; removes hail and storm, gives fertility to the earth, can also help free the souls of purgatory assisted by suffrage prayers. We also recommend the use and sprinkling in places where serious deadly sins have been committed (abortions, sessions spiritiche etc ..) and to frequently sprinkle the dying, who in those terrible moments are particularly harassed and struck by the devil (as St. Faustina Kowalka and Sister Josefa Menendez also experienced). The Lord grants all these graces when those who use the blessed water and receive the blessings of the Church have strong faith in the power and goodness of God.
