Buffalo, USA. During Christmas Eve, Sha'Kira Rain Aughtry, while she was intent on the preparations, she hears a strange noise, almost moans coming from the door of the house. She notified her husband and together they opened the door and found themselves in front of a man, Joey White trembling and cold. They immediately took him inside the house and took care of him.

A woman with a big heart saves a stranger

The woman immediately realized that the man's conditions weren't good at all, in fact his hands were frozen. So she contacted medical assistance, but at that moment she was unable to reach the house due to bad weather.

So put aside the preparations Sha'Kira decided to take care of him, waiting for medical assistance. Afraid that Joey's condition would worsen, the woman decided to share a video lesson hoping to get help as soon as possible. He then contacted the Joeys' brother reassuring him, and explaining that the man was safe.

I relief efforts they finally arrived and took the man to a facility. Despite the tense situation, Sha'Kira kept her cool, and did everything to help the man save himself.

To thank her for everything, a colleague of Joey's decided to create 2 fundraising, one for the colleague and one for the woman. The amount raised went well beyond expectations, and this served to demonstrate how much Sha'Kira's gesture touched her heart.
