Gospel of 10 June 2018

Book of Genesis 3,9-15.
After Adam ate the tree, the Lord God called the man and said to him, "Where are you?".
He replied: "I heard your step in the garden: I was afraid, because I am naked, and I hid myself."
He went on: “Who let you know you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat? "
The man replied: "The woman you placed beside me gave me the tree and I ate it."
The Lord God said to the woman, "What have you done?". The woman replied: "The snake has deceived me and I have eaten."
Then the Lord God said to the serpent: “Since you have done this, be you cursed more than all the cattle and more than all the wild beasts; on your belly you will walk and dust you will eat for all the days of your life.
I will put enmity between you and the woman, between your lineage and her lineage: this will crush your head and you will undermine her heel ".

Salmi 130(129),1-2.3-4ab.4c-6.7-8.
From the depths to you I cry, O Lord;
Sir, listen to my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my prayer.

If you consider the blame, Lord,
Sir, who will survive?
But forgiveness is with you:
therefore I will have your fear

and we will have your fear.
I hope in the Lord,
my soul hopes in his word.
My soul awaits the Lord

more than sentinels the dawn.
Israel await the Lord,
because with the Lord is mercy
redemption is great with him.

He will redeem Israel from all its faults.

Second letter of St. Paul the Apostle to Corinthians 4,13-18.5,1.
Animated however by that same spirit of faith of which it is written: I believed, therefore I spoke, we also believe and therefore we speak,
convinced that he who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus and put us next to him together with you.
In fact, everything is for you, so that grace, even more abundant by a greater number, multiplies the hymn of praise to the glory of God.
This is why we are not discouraged, but even if our outer man is falling apart, the inner man is renewed day by day.
In fact the momentary, light weight of our tribulation, provides us with an immeasurable and eternal amount of glory,
because we do not fix our gaze on visible things, but on invisible ones. The visible things are of a moment, the invisible ones are eternal.
We know that when this body, our home on earth, is destroyed, we will receive a home from God, an eternal home, not built by human hands, in the heavens.

From the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Mark 3,20-35.
At that time, Jesus entered a house and a large crowd gathered around him again, to the point that they could not even take food.
Then his parents heard this and went to fetch him; for they said, "He is out of his mind."
But the scribes, who had come down from Jerusalem, said: "He is possessed by Beelzebub and casts out demons by means of the prince of demons."
But he called them and said to them in parables: "How can Satan drive out Satan?"
If a kingdom is divided in itself, that kingdom cannot stand;
if a house is divided in itself, that house cannot stand.
In the same way, if Satan rebels against himself and is divided, he cannot resist, but he is about to end.
Nobody can enter the house of a strong man and kidnap his belongings unless he has first tied the strong man; then he will pillage the house.
Truly I say to you: all sins will be forgiven the children of men and also all the blasphemies they will say;
but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness: he will be guilty of eternal guilt ».
For they said, "He is possessed by an unclean spirit."
His mother and brothers arrived and, standing outside, sent for him.
All around the crowd sat and they said to him: "Here is your mother, your brothers and sisters are out and looking for you."
But he said to them, "Who is my mother and who are my brothers?"
Turning his gaze to those who were sitting around him, he said: "Here is my mother and my brothers!
Whoever does the will of God, this is my brother, sister and mother ».
